In the top of the second, Wilyer Abreu got a two-out walk, then a Triston Casas home run brought two runs in and put the Red Sox on the board early. Jonathan Aranda singled to start the home half, but three outs followed to leave him stranded.
The third inning went 1-2-3 for both sides.
The fourth started three-up, three-down for the Red Sox.
