Rays 3, White Sox 2: The plays Rays fans will be talking about today

THE GOOD: Yes, Brandon Guyer had a huge game and deserved his post-game interviews, but the best play of this game came off the bat of Steve Pearce. Grabbing an early lead is something the Rays haven’t done much of this season, so it was nice to see Pearce drive in Guyer in the first inning for the 1-0 lead. But what is really exciting about this play is the swing. Pearce swings his bat like he is hitting a fungo in pre-game warmups and yet the ball hits the top of the wall in the deepest part of the park.
