Well, you can't say the Rays didn't have their chances. After falling behind 2-0 in the top of the fourth -- thanks to some infuriating Royals hitting and in explicable error when Asdrubal Cabrera failed to look a sure double play liner all they way into his glove -- the Rays showed some moxie in the bottom of the frame. A double to right by Jaso, a little redemption on hard ground single by Cabrera to plate him, then a drive into the gap by Kiermaier that just kept carrying into the first row in right center, and stunningly, the Rays were up 3-2.
