Rays 2, Braves 9: Braves spoil city connect game

The Rays fell to the Braves on Saturday 9-2, dropping their record to 33-38 on the season. Ryan Pepiot was given the loss in this one, giving up five runs in 4 23 innings, while Braves starter and former Ray Charlie Morton got the victory going six innings with just one earned run and three hits.

Home runs were the story of this game, with Atlanta hitting four of them to power their way to a blowout victory at home. The first of which came in the fifth inning, a go-ahead blast from Jarred Kelenic to put the Braves up 2-1.
