THE GOOD: After scoring just 29 runs in the previous 11 games, the offense had one of the best days of the season. The 13 runs tied for a season-high and was just the fourth time this season the Rays topped 10 runs in a game. The 18 hits was also a season-high. The good news is that this might not have been that fluky. Despite losing the final two games of the Orioles series, we could see the bats starting to come alive. The Rays scored 11 runs and had 26 hits in those two games. On Monday night, five batters had 3 hits, including Logan Forsythe who had a long home run, and Nick Franklin who drove in 5.
