ST. PETERSBURG — The group of Rays fans who have been walking around the concourse of Tropicana Field during the team’s current homestand protesting the team’s proposed plan to split home games with Montreal isn’t staging a revolt.
Formed through a Facebook group after Rays principal owner Stuart Sternberg’s press conference last week, they pledge to make their walk through the Trop every game in some form.
"We want to prove to the world and to MLB that we actually have a fan base," said Chris Haight, a Bradenton resident who is one of the group's organizers.
