Player of the Series: Brandon Lowe

When a team is swept in a three game series, it can be difficult to pick a player that stood out. There were solid pitching performances from all three starting pitchers, with one bad inning wrecking the nights of both Taj Bradley and Zack Littell. Offensive, Jonathan Aranda hit a homerun and provided some great at-bats.

However, for these three games, we’ll pick Brandon Lowe as the Rays 3rd Player of the Series

This past weekend, Lowe collected four hits in 12 trips to the plate, including his 129th homerun in a Rays uniform. That homerun pushed him into 3rd place on the Rays all-time HR leaderboard, surpassing Aubrey Huff.
