ST. PETERSBURG -- Kevin Kiermaier provided the big hit on a night when the Rays had plenty of big moments but little to show for them.
Kiermaier’s two-run homer in the sixth inning was the difference in a 3-1 victory Tuesday night in front of 10,988 at Tropicana Field.
It was the Rays seventh win in their last 10 games and evened their record at 10-10.
