CLEVELAND (AP) -- The Cleveland Indians have called up right-hander Cody Anderson to make his major league debut against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Anderson will start Sunday in the finale of a three-game series. He was called up from Triple-A Columbus. Anderson began the season at Double-A Akron and has gone 4-3 with a 1.89 ERA in the minors this season.
Anderson, 24, was Cleveland's 14th-round selection in the 2011 draft. He's the fourth pitcher the Indians have used in the fifth spot in the rotation.
