Even though the Hudson Valley Renegades begin their season on June 19, the coaching staff is still a bit unsettled. Tim Parenton, who had been the manager for the past three years, resigned to take over as the head baseball coach at the University of North Florida. As he twice won the McNamara Division, and piloted the Renegades to the New York-Penn League Championship Series last season, his departure leaves a big hole in Hudson Valley.
Set to take his place helming the Renegades is Durham Bulls third base coach Craig Albernaz. Albernaz is no stranger to the minors, having spent nine seasons, mostly in the Rays organization.
