Baltimore’s big visitor attraction is the Inner Harbor area, which has a great aquarium and is walking distance from Camden Yards. But it is, frankly, just a large, if well designed, shopping mall.
If you want to experience Old Baltimore and be on the water, walk a bit east and you’re in Fells Point, with its cobblestone streets and traditional Baltimore row houses. Its grid was platted by Edward Fell in 1761. The neighborhood was built around shipping activities back then; now you’ll find restaurants and condos along the waterfront.
Maybe our two Lowes will hit homers out to Fells point this series?
