The last time a pitcher in the major leagues ended the season with at least 20 losses was over a decade ago when Mike Maroth lost 21 games with the Detroit Tigers. The last time a right-handed pitcher did it, was in 1980 when Brian Kingman did It for the Oakland Athletics. Wins and losses don't matter, but if Chris Archer losses tonight, his name will forever be in the record books.
His last start came on the 23rd against the Red Sox at the Trop and while he didn't pitch too poorly, he still netted his 19th loss of the season.
