Ben Lively Scouting Report

Lively made his major league debut during the 2017 season with the Philadephia Phillies. A former top-ten prospect in the Cincinnati Reds system, Lively was traded to the Phillies on New Year’s Eve in 2014 for OF Marlon Byrd.

Lively would start 15 games for Philadelphia in 2017, finishing out the season within their starting rotation. Overall, he accumulated a 4.26 ERA / 4.97 FIP, to go along with a 14.0 K% and 6.5 BB% in just shy of 89 innings pitched.

He has made two starts for the Phillies thus far in 2018.
