Forsythe, Karns, Archer honored by BBWAA

"Surprised [to win the award] at first," Forsythe said. "It's a big honor. ... I just thank my teammates for motivating me. They kept me going out there every day, playing for them. So it's a great honor and I'm happy to have it."

Karns followed 2014 winner Jake Odorizzi.

"To be nominated and voted to be, in people's eyes, to be the lead runner among the rookies coming into the season was not even on my radar," Karns said. "You have to understand where I was coming from at the beginning of the year.
