Forsythe day to day after hit-by-pitch

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- Logan Forsythe left Tuesday's Phillies-Rays Grapefruit League game after getting hit by a pitch in the bottom of the first.

Forsythe led off for the Rays and took an Aaron Nola fastball off his left arm. He started toward first base with his arm hanging down in obvious pain. Rays manager Kevin Cash and a trainer met Forsythe at first.

After a brief conversation, Forsythe left the game and Juniel Querecuto came on to pinch-run and play second base.

Once the inning was over, Forsythe walked to the clubhouse.
