DETROIT — Willy Adames wasn’t looking for revenge.
More of a means to introduce himself.
Signed, developed and deemed a prospect by the Tigers, Adames was traded during his 2014 Class A season, meaning he never got to play at Comerica Park.
Until Tuesday, when he capped a good individual showing in a bad team game, hitting a grand slam in the eighth inning that drew the Rays close in a game they would lose 9-6.
