It’s that time of year again! The Little League World Series is upon us. It’s a time where we get to see some insane plays that make us ask “wait, how old it this kid?” and also to remind us of a time when baseball was all about fun. It has also, of course, yielded heroes like Big Al.
For some of us, it’s also a great time to reflect on our own Little League careers, ones that likely did not end with big competitions, but rather participation trophies and a stern reminder from our parents that “Maybe you shouldn’t have smacked the ball into the ground instead of catching it, Ashley.
