The All-Star Game has come and gone, and it was a solid showing for the Rays, with a Mike Zunino home run, some great defense from Joey Wendle, and solid pitching from late addition Andrew Kittredge. We had a few days with no baseball games, and now we’re back to regularly scheduled programming and entering the bottom half of the 2021 season.
The Rays have had an intriguing first half, battling it out with the Red Sox for top spot, a few unfortunate injuries, but still a strong April through June. Now, if they're going to want to make another push for the postseason it’ll all come down to what they do in the latter part of the year.
