I think it’s safe to say there are a lot of people who might have never learned to love the sport of baseball if not for their fathers. Whether you’re a son or a daughter doesn’t matter, what matters is that for many baseball-loving folks out there, their passion for the game is deeply rooted in a familial connection.

Perhaps your dad took you to your first game when you were barely old enough to walk, or maybe he sat on the couch with you and explained the finer points of the game before you were too cool to spend time with him.
