ATLANTA – Given the way the Tampa Bay Rays offense exploded Sunday, it was only natural to wonder if they could do it again Tuesday once the road trip headed east from Minneapolis to Atlanta.
And, given the way he pitched in his previous outing against the New York Yankees, it was only natural to wonder of Erasmo Ramirez could do it again.
The answers: kind of.
Ramirez had one bad inning, and because of that the Rays had to rally for a 5-3 win at Turner Field.
Logan Forsythe and David DeJesus had the key hits in the fifth inning as the Rays scored twice to take the lead after trailing 3-1 heading to third inning.
