Here are four trades I'd like to see between now and the start of spring training.
1. St. Louis Cardinals and Colorado Rockies
The Trade: Cardinals get outfielder Carlos Gonzalez; Rockies get outfielder Stephen Piscotty and left-handed starter Marco Gonzales.
The Cardinals finished 11th in the National League last year in runs scored, home runs and stolen bases and have since lost Jason Heyward to free agency and Yadier Molina is coming back from thumb surgery and is expected to miss most of the spring.
