The ballot is out for the Baseball Writers Association of America to vote to select the National Baseball Hall of Fame class of 2025.
In total, there are 28 players on the ballot for the nearly 400 voting members for the BBWAA to choose from. Voters can only selected up to 10 players on each ballot, but may also turn in empty ballots should they choose to do so.
Among the 28 players are 14 hold overs and 14 newcomers, with Ichiro Suzuki being the most notable of those making their way onto the ballot. The ballot also includes three former Rays: Ben Zobrist, Fernando Rodney, and Manny Ramirez; this will be Zobrist’s and Rodney’s first year on the ballot, while Ramirez is appearing for the 9th time.
