The MLB offseason is just starting dawn, but that hasn’t stopped the Tampa Bay Rays from making a flurry of moves that has already significantly altered their roster from the way it looked when the regular season ended over a month ago.
The Rays have already declined their options on Charlie Morton and Mike Zunino, while also parting ways with the likes of Michael Perez, Chaz Roe, Andrew Kittredge, Kevan Smith, Oliver Drake, and Aaron Loup.
That’s a total of eight players who were on the 40-man roster when the season ended that are no longer with the team.
