Archer gives up four homers as Rays lose 6-1 to Orioles

BALTIMORE -- The first home run Friday night off Chris Archer was an ambush job, as pitchers like to say. Orioles slugger Chris Davis slugged the first pitch of the second inning into the center field seats.

The same could be said for the second home run off Archer. A drive into the Orioles bullpen in center field by Jonathan Schoop to start the fifth inning.

But there were more home runs that inning, two to be exact,

It was a cold night in the Inner Harbor, but the Orioles bats warmed up against Archer, chasing him after five innings in a 6-1 victory at Camden Yards.
