With Joel Sherman of the New York Post reporting that Tampa Bay Rays ace David Price will "definitely" be on the move before the 4:00PM EST non-waiver trade deadline, one team might be standing head and shoulders above the rest in the race to land the former AL Cy Young Award winner.
According to Mark Feinsand of the New York Daily News, the Detroit Tigers have (perhaps surprisingly) jumped ahead of the field in the Price trade sweepstakes:
Source says Tigers appear to be front runner for Price.

USA Today's Bob Nightengale confirms the Tigers' standing as favorites, but adds three other teams as potential landing spots for Price before all is said and done:
The #Tigers, #Mariners and #Pirates are the three front-runners for #Rays ace David Price, while #Yankees have dabbled in talks.

However, per Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports, don't count on Price wearing Yankee pinstripes any time soon:
Hearing “no chance” #Yankees get Price.
