As we imagined, the 2016 World Cup of Hockey has kicked off quite nicely with some pretty fierce competition on the ice. Today begins Day Three of the international tournament. Kicking things off today will be Team Europe taking on Team Czech Republic.
This brings us to the game at hand. Following the matchup between Europe and Czech Republic, captain Alex Ovechkin and Team Russia will be taking the ice to do battle with Team North America. Given what we have seen from the first two days of competition, this is going to be a heck of a game to watch.
