Tiger Woods was injured Tuesday in a single-car crash near Los Angeles.
"Tiger Woods was in a single-car accident this morning in California where he suffered multiple leg injuries," his agent Mark Steinberg said. "He is currently in surgery and we thank you for your privacy and support."
According to the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept., emergency personnel responded to a rollover crash at approximately 7:12 a.m. local time, and extricated Woods from the vehicle using the "jaws of life."
Woods' car "sustained major damage" in the crash, according to the sheriff's department.
