Following some final moves on Monday (Max Crozier re-assigned to Syracuse and Logan Brown released from his PTO) the Tampa Bay Lightning have officially set their season-opening roster prior to the 5:00 PM EST deadline. Now, please be advised that what they turn into the league today might not be the same as to what they have on the ice Friday in Carolina as they open the season against the ‘Canes.
According to PuckPedia, the Lightning will start the season with 22 players on the roster and $618,334 in cap space. For the first time since the 2019-20 season, the Lightning will not start the year with players on LTIR, thus allowing them to bank cap space for the season.
