The Tampa Bay Lightning has made a tremendous amount of progress over the last couple of games in terms of getting back to the winning ways Lightning fans have become accustomed to. The Lightning put together a seven-game win streak that culminated with a 2-1 win over the defending Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks, effectively snapping their 12-game win streak.
Unfortunately, the Lightning’s 2-1 win over the Blackhawks was the end of the line for their own win streak. Just two nights later, the Florida Panthers dismantle the Lightning in a 5-2 win at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, effectively putting an end to the Bolts’ seven-game win streak.
