The Tampa Bay Lightning let off the gas a little in the second period last night, but a surge in the third period and a two-goal night from Lightning captain Steven Stamkos led the Lightning to a 3-1 victory over their Atlantic Division rivals, the Montreal Canadiens.
Tonight, the Lightning will charge into the Amalie Arena one more time this year in the hopes of adding another win to their fantastic home record and finish off their back-to-back week-ending series with a victory over the rough and tumble Philadelphia Flyers.
