With J.J. Moser still recovering from his injury and Erik Cernak missing the majority of the last game, the Tampa Bay Lightning recalled defenseman Max Crozier from the Syracuse Crunch on Friday. The 24-year-old was a fourth-round pick in 2019 and came in at the 8th spot in our most recent Top 25 Under 25.
This is the second season in a row where the Lightning have turned to Crozier to help out when injuries plagued the blueline. Last year, he appeared in a total of 13 regular-season games and three playoff games. The former Providence Friar recorded two assists in his debut season with the Lightning.
