The Tampa Bay Lightning announced that Dyllan Gill, a right-shot defender playing with the Syracuse Crunch, was reassigned to the Moncton Wildcats of the QMJHL. The 20-year-old has recorded 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists) in 24 games with the Crunch this year, his first in professional hockey.
Astute followers of Lightning prospects will note that during his previous sojourn in the QMJHL, Gill had played for a different team, the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, where he was their captain during an injury-plagued 2023-24 season. The defenseman appeared in only 12 games before a shoulder injury shelved him for the season.
