When the Tampa Bay Lightning claimed goaltender Kevin Poulin off waivers from the New York Islanders towards the end of September, those of us here in the Bolts Nation assumed we would see him play in at least one game while goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy recovered from his successful vascular surgery to remove a blood clot found near his collar bone.
Unfortunately for Poulin, it seems as if the Tampa Bay Lightning had other plans in mind for the twenty five year old goaltender. Ben Bishop has started eight-straight games since the start of the season, despite working through a minor injury that has been nagging him for the past few games.
