Tampa Bay Lightning fans received some bad news this morning just ahead of their match up against the New York Rangers in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. It seems as if the Lightning will be heading into tonight’s encounter with one less defenseman at the blue line.
Tampa Bay Lightning Head Coach Jon Cooper said in this afternoon’s pre-game press conference that Lightning defenseman Matt Carle would be out of tonight’s match up against the Rangers. Cooper wasn’t really giving in the means of a replacement for Carle, but he was pretty clear that Carle would not be playing.
