The official start of the 2018-19 Tampa Bay Lightning season is right around the corner. In fact, for those of you keeping count, we are exactly Alex Killorn (17) days away from the first puck drop of the season.
As most Lightning fans know, there are a couple of positions up for grabs heading into the new season. The good news is, the Lightning has a plethora of players coming up the pipeline who are more than willing and able to make the jump to the NHL on a more permanent basis.
This means the competition is going to be tougher than ever to earn a permanent spot on the Lightning’s roster.
