The Tampa Bay Lightning has entered the time of year when changes become just another day in the life of the NHL. It is a normal occurrence for a player to make his way to a new team or for a new player to join the organization before the upcoming season, but it’s not everyday that someone in the front office heads off to greener pastures.
Unfortunately for the Tampa Bay Lightning organization, that is exactly what has happened late last week. As most of you know by now, Tampa Bay Lightning Chief Executive Officer Tod Leiweke has resigned from the Lightning organization and will be making a new home in the National Football League.
