There is an old saying that goes “bigger isn’t always better.” A player who has been making big strides towards proving this saying wrong is Tampa Bay Lightning right wing Bokondji Imama. At six-foot-one-inch tall and 222 pounds, the young Lightning forward had a good showing at the Tampa Bay Lightning’s 2016 Development Camp and more specifically, the 3-on-3 tournament that ended camp.
Much like former Tampa Bay Lightning right wing Steve Downie, Bokondji Imama’s reputation precedes him. Rather than being known for what he can do on the ice, he is much more well-known for what he can do when he drops the gloves.
