It was a rocking scene at Amalie Arena Thursday night, as the Tampa Bay Lightning looked for a small piece of revenge for last season’s 6 game loss to the Chicago Blackhawks in the Stanley Cup Finals. They certainly got it, with a 2-1 win silencing the red-clad fans who came out in droves.
From the opening faceoff, the Tampa Bay Lightning looked like they were on a mission. Ryan Callahan set the tone with a partial breakaway that was denied by Hawks goaltender Corey Crawford.
