The NHL Department of Player Safety announced Tuesday evening they have suspended Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Erik Cernak for two games following an illegal hit he executed against Buffalo Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin on Monday night at the Amalie Arena in Tampa.
