It wasn’t long ago when the Tampa Bay Lightning learned they would be heading into the final games of the regular season without one of the core members of their defense with Anton Stralman. Now, things have gotten exponentially worse for the Lightning.
The Tampa Bay Lightning Vice President and General Manager Steve Yzerman announced via the team’s official site that Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos has been diagnosed with a blood clot which will require vascular surgery to repair.
