The Tampa Bay Lightning Home Opener is quickly approaching. In fact, for those of us keeping count, we are t-minus two days away from the Tampa Bay Lightning charging into the Amalie Arena to do battle with the Philadelphia Flyers in the first official game of the 2015-16 season.
As the dates continue to be marked off the calendar with a big red X, the Tampa Bay Lightning’s bigger picture is coming into focus and the main roster is starting to come together. Unfortunately, no matter how good the players on the ice may be, there are only so many roster spots available and not everyone can make the team.
