Two nights after blowing a one goal lead and then the game, the Tampa Bay Lightning found themselves in another dogfight with their cross state rivals for nearly 60 minutes. Unfortunately, all that hard work went for naught with the Florida Panthers scoring the tie-breaking, back-breaking goal with 21 seconds remaining in regulation to snatch a 1-0 win.
A first 20 minutes that started out all Panthers ended with the Lightning holding a large, 13-4 shot advantage. None could really be considered grade A chances though because it was pretty much all one and done.
