Well now. The Tampa Bay Lightning announced that they have acquired defenseman Ryan McDonagh and a 2024 fourth-round pick from the Nashville Predators in exchange for their 2025 second-round pick and a 2024 seventh-round pick. The fourth-round pick was originally property of the Edmonton Oilers.
This unexpected move reunites McDonagh with the team that he won two Stanley Cups with in 2020 and 2021 while solidifying the left-side of the defense.
