Isn’t it crazy how less then two years ago the Tampa Bay Lightning didn’t have a clear-cut franchise goaltender and were not even sure who the starter would be between Anders Lindback and Ben Bishop? The past 11 years have been a struggle since having Nikolai Khabibulin aka “The Bulin Wall” between the pipes in 2004.
Besides a few exceptional months from the now-retired Dwayne Roloson in 2011, the Lightning have not had a reliable starting goaltender since winning the Stanley Cup in 2004.
