Sights and sounds from a high-scoring loss to the Stars in Dallas

A Tampa Bay Lightning lineup devoid of much of its star power hung tight in Dallas for two-plus periods. Slater Koekkoek’s goal early in the third tied the game 3-3, but then the floodgates opened as the Stars scored three consecutive goals in two minutes and 19 seconds to turn a close game into a runaway 6-3 loss for the Bolts. Vladislav Namestnikov and Jonathan Drouin each scored a power-play goal in addition to Koekkoek’s even strength tally, and Ray Emery played a full 60 in net (plus the 3-on-3 OT following regulation, which ended without a score), stopping 20 of 26 Dallas shots.
