OTTAWA — The World Cup of Hockey will have a very Tampa Bay sort of feel.
With the rosters for the eight competing teams being announced throughout the day Wednesday, the Lightning figure to have a large representation of players.
Russia, Czech Republic and Finland were the first to submit the initial 16-player roster for the tournament, which will take place in Toronto in September. The final rosters will be announced on June 1.
Tampa Bay has six players already announced on those rosters.
Russia named three Lightning players to the team: forwards Nikita Kucherov and Vladislav Namestnikov along with goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy.
