An effort to get downtown Tampa energized about the Lightning’s playoff run will start with a sugar rush and a dose of caffeine Tuesday morning.

The team has partnered with Dunkin Donuts and Hillsborough County to construct a 57-foot Lightning logo out of doughnuts that will be on display at Joe Chillura Courthouse Square on East Madison Street at Pierce Street in downtown Tampa.

Fans can stop by for a free doughnut and a cup of coffee from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The Lightning Girls and mascot ThunderBug will be there, too.
