TAMPA — Erik Karlsson seems to like to weather down south.
TSN Hockey reporter Pierre LeBrun tweeted that the two-time Norris Trophy winner has signed an eight-year max contract with the San Jose Sharks worth more than $11 million per season.

The defenseman was acquired from the Ottawa Senators in September, in exchange for three players.
