Quick Strikes: Tampa Bay Lightning lose 6-1 to Carolina Hurricanes

Last night in preseason action, the Tampa Bay Lightning lost again to the Carolina Hurricanes, this time to the tune of 6-1. Boris Katchouk scored the only goal of the game for the Lightning, who have lost the two preseason games to the Canes by a combined score of 11-2 in the past two days.

To make matters worse, Daniel Walcott would take a hard hit into the boards early in the third period and be forced to leave the game. He left the rink holding his shoulder.

Daniel Walcott took a heavy hit into the boards from Trevor Carrick and is down face first on the ice.
