Tampa Bay Lightning prospect and Syracuse Crunch forward has been awarded the Dudley (Red) Garrett Memorial Award. The award is given every year to the AHL’s most outstanding rookie.
This is the first time in team history that a Crunch rookie has been recognized by the league with this honor.
Congrats to Alex Barre-Boulet, who became the first #SyrCrunch player to lead @TheAHL rookies in scoring. He is the first Crunch player to be named the league's most outstanding rookie. He's the first #TBLightning prospect to win it since Cory Conacher with Norfolk in 2011-12.
